Communication is the key to successful business relationships. FreeUp has devoted a large number of development resources and time to help bring our community together! You asked and we listened. After gaining insight from marketplace users we found a huge opportunity to create a streamlined channel for communication.
On July 19th, 2021 FreeUp will be launching its new messaging platform!
FreeUp Messenger will provide a better experience for solopreneurs, enterprises, small businesses, freelancers, and agencies alike.
Messenger is designed to help clients and freelancers connect quickly and authentically to build long-lasting relationships. Messenger will help achieve this goal by developing the pillars listed below:
All of your communications will be housed in one place and within their respective projects. You can now track all conversations with each individual project. This creates more efficient & effective communication between freelancers and clients.
Messenger will now become a conduit for building relationships between freelancers and clients. Our mission is to help clients and freelancers work together more efficiently by making communication on our platform easier than ever before.
You will now have more support from the FreeUp team by having easy access to conversations that help facilitate any needs from clients and/or freelancers. This means that if you ever run into any issues, we can quickly resolve them with minimal documentation.
Individuals make up the business, but it’s the community that makes the FreeUp Marketplace complete. We have started rolling out this new feature and many more to improve the outsourcing experience between clients and freelancers.
Can I still use email?
Using FreeUp Messenger is not required. However, recommend that all communication between clients and freelancers be done through our messaging system to ensure that we have accurate documentation should any billing disputes arise. We do understand that some clients have processes in place, NDA contracts, and/or comfort levels that require freelancers to use a particular channel. If this is the case then continue to use the preferred method of the client.
What about my past emails to freelancers/clients?
Previous correspondence will not be transferred over to the new FreeUp Messenger platform.
No minimums. Fast access to top US and international talent.
